About Me

Hey, my name is Jeff. I’m a guy with a turntable (and CD player… and cassette player… and iPod…) from the Seattle area who is always looking for new music. Life in the Vinyl Lane is a way for me to share the artists, record stores, and indie labels I like with the world, so that perhaps you can discover something new and interesting. And maybe I’ll make a few new friends along the way too.

The prior version of Life in the Vinyl Lane was around for about a decade. If you’re interested in what it was about, and why it eventually came to an end, there’s a post about it HERE. While I was not able to migrate content from the old blog to this one, I did manage to download all the posts as a PDF. From time to time I’ll resurrect some of these and post them as “From The Vault”. Most of these will probably be posts that included artist interviews. However, if you’re a musician and I posted about your work before, and you’d really like to see it online again, hit me up and I can probably re-post it.

I also make music. Abandoned Graves is a solo dungeon synth project that you can check out on Bandcamp HERE. More recently I partnered with my friend Mattesque to create dark ambient/dungeon synth, which is available online HERE. I also have a page HERE on the blog.

You’re welcome to drop me a line any time and let me know what you think – jeff (at) lifeinthevinyllane (dot) com. I’d love to hear from you.

You can also connect with me on the Life in the Vinyl Lane page on Facebook and @lifeinthevinyllane on Instagram.
